In the studio, we organise ourselves in weekly sprints. Normally, at the end of each week we’ll have a meeting with the client to review the progress made during the week.
An illustrative outline of the process would look like this:
Creative Management
Product Design
Documentation for Development
QA (quality assurance)
This process is just a guideline.
Concept - Diverge to converge
The client sends us a briefing which is then sent back with the studio’s version of the briefing. The goal: selecting key words and moving closer to the start of things, studying definitions and connecting with art and philosophical tendencies. The most important elements are highlighted, while always understanding the origin of everything the client has specified.
After diverging, when concepts and definitions are clear, we look for references. An attitude, a painting, anything that connects with the initial briefing and that could be of use, though it’s important not to use too many references. Quality is better than quantity.
