The entire team is on Slack.
We have a bot programmed for our Daily every day at 10:00 am. As each of us has a different schedule, we realised that it was better to do Dailies in writing rather than in a face-to-face meeting.
Standuply - Slack Standup Bot for Remote Agile Teams
After answering questions, commenting on progress made or establishing whether obstacles have been found, answers are sent directly to the #general channel as a thread, so as not to disturb.
Why a Daily? The daily is a way to recap what has been done so far, talk about the goals for the day and discuss any roadblocks there may be.
After discovering Notion, we decided to organise everything using this tool. In fact, we no longer use any others.
Notion - Docs, Wikis, Tasks. Seamlessly in one.
Notion works with blocks. These blocks can include text, images, links, to-do lists… (they even offer the possibility of embedding prototypes from InVision). A block is the minimum unit that can be used, duplicated and moved throughout the entire application. These blocks can also be joined whichever way you want.
For example, you could have a page that contains text and images and inside that page create another that, in turn, has to-do lists and that, in turn, contains a page with the final prototype you’ve done.
It’s the versatility that Notion offers that drove us to stop using other applications such as Bear or Roadmap.
