Rounds

The work within a design file is organised in Rounds to avoid the files from getting too big and obstructing the process.

There are different types of pages: Rounds, Final (delivered to the client), Separators (to ease the visualisation of the pages) and _test (tests and references).

Why work with rounds that separate the content in pages?

After trying different systems of version control, none of them convinced us. This is why we decided to have a type of version control for projects by dividing them into rounds.

Dropbox helps us to recover files in the event they get deleted or if their content gets lost. With rounds, we can see the progress of a project and quickly go back should we decide to recover older concepts or solutions.

Organisation of rounds

Each file contains the rounds needed within a sprint.

Rounds are organised from most to least recent, with the latest round always at the very top.

How do some rounds differ from others?

To clarify which round we’re currently working on we use an emoticon 🛠. Es la manera más rápida y visual que hemos encontrado para realizar esta diferenciación.

Once all work has been reviewed and is ready to be delivered to the client, a new page is created with the name 👉FINAL. In it we’ll find all deliverables that will subsequently be sent to the client.
